This policy explains how Infrastructure Calculator handles information when you use its calculators, submit feedback, request a PDF, or contact us.
Information We Process
Calculator inputs are sent to this site's WordPress endpoints to validate values and return results. Some features also save inputs or calculator state in your browser's local storage. Locally saved information stays in that browser unless you use a feature that sends it to the site.
If you submit a problem report, we receive the issue type, your message, and information identifying the calculator. These details may be stored in the site's database to review reported problems.
If you request a PDF by email, we receive your email address, consent choice, and details identifying the calculator and its release. These details may be stored in the site's database to handle the request. Where available, you can download a watermarked PDF instead of requesting email delivery.
Server Processing and Local Storage
The web server and WordPress process requests to display pages, perform calculations, limit requests, and investigate errors. Server log contents and retention periods depend on the hosting configuration and have not been confirmed.
Your browser settings or extensions may affect whether calculator information can be saved in local storage.
Advertising, Affiliate Links, and Third Parties
We plan to use display advertising, including Google AdSense, and affiliate marketing, including Amazon Associates. These are plans, not confirmation of platform approval, active advertising, or participation in an affiliate program.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Site Kit. The Google tag is loaded on public pages, and the active Site Kit configuration excludes logged-in users from analytics tracking. Google Analytics may process page views and enabled interaction events and may use cookies or similar identifiers. The exact event set, cookie settings, retention period, and consent configuration in the connected Google Analytics property have not been independently verified. Google may process analytics data under its own Privacy Policy. The current Site Kit settings show no Google Ads or AdSense connection; display advertising and affiliate programs remain plans rather than active services. Site Kit also has its PageSpeed Insights module enabled for administrator performance reports; when a report is requested, the page URL may be sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service. Calculator requests are sent to this site’s WordPress REST endpoints. The precise measurement event payloads are controlled by the Analytics property and have not been verified here. No separate third-party email service is identified for PDF requests; WordPress and the hosting provider may also process requests separately.
