About Infrastructure Calculator

Infrastructure Calculator provides online engineering calculators for planning and estimating digital infrastructure projects. It serves data-center planners and operators, fiber and outside-plant (OSP) engineers, RF and wireless engineers, telecom site teams, and project estimators.

The tools cover three main areas:

  • Data centers: power, cooling, water, carbon, backup power, capacity, and lifecycle costs.
  • Fiber networks: routes, cable installation, optical links, and passive optical networks (PON).
  • Wireless and telecom sites: RF, antennas, towers, rooftops, and network traffic.

The calculators help users check quantities and assumptions and compare planning scenarios. Each calculator shows its formula, output units, assumptions, and limits so users can understand the basis of the result.

Results support estimating and planning—not final design or equipment certification. They do not replace field measurements, manufacturer documentation, applicable code review, or qualified engineering judgment.
